Changes

MAJOR
- Vine Wings. Broad, leafy wings that resemble those found on a monster from her universe. However, rather than being flight-capable, she can manipulate the woody branches and vines they're formed of at will -- so she could use them like stilts, to climb, to pick up and hold things too heavy for her or reach where she couldn't with ordinary limbs, etc. They can be pruned and hacked like any other plant, and will regrow over time if they're trimmed in such a way. She also has to sun them on a regular basis or they'll start to wither.

MINOR
- Permanent Light Aura. It gets in the way of sleeping, but thankfully she can cover the worst of the glow with clothes.
- Vorpal Bunny Ears. Something like these babies, which resemble more giant moth feelers than anything else, replacing her regular ears. She only has two, though!
- Patches of small leaves on various parts of her body, in pale green and blue to match the color of her ears. They grow out in a pattern that almost mimics feathers and can puff up in response to her emotions.
- A lyrebird-like tail made of out of plant matter. Regrows when cut or broken,
- Sharp, bird-like talons on hands and feet; lilac-scaled forearms and shins.

(Think of her as a plant phoenix-y sort of lady, basically.)




Magic

ADVANCED SPELLS
- Light Form: With a little concentration, Moenbryda can dissolve herself into a cloud of glowing light motes. This makes it possible to slip into any places light would fit into, though it's not very subtle, and traveling more quickly (not as fast as light, though). Lacking a physical form, she can't be struck (unless forced out of it), and she's essentially prey to being manipulated by all the same rules light is (i.e. bouncing off reflective surfaces etc). However, she can still talk normally, and for a little more effort she can concentrate some of her particles into something that can physically interact with objects -- but no more than, say, turning a handle.
- Elemental Weapon (Light): Moenbryda can summon either an axe, sword, or polearm crafted of solid light. They're quite safe to handle, but the blade edges don't so much cut, per say, as vaporize. She can give them to someone else to use, but they'll dissolve back into light within an hour if left unreplenished.
- Greater Illusion: Moenbryda can weave deft, detailed illusions from memory or description. This can range from the abstract, like generating images in front of her to illustrate a point she's discussing, or a simulacrum of an individual. The illusions aren't solid, but they can to some extent persist without her conscious control if she makes the conscious decision to bind the illusion to an object, though they'll be destroyed if the object is. Simulacra may either be actively puppeted by her or be 'pre-programmed' with a set amount of behavior or dialogue (like an NPC) and their quality depends on her knowledge/attention, but she can't (currently) maintain more than one detailed one at a time, maybe two if they're not talking and are on autopilot.

Light-related spells are easier during daylight hours and in conditions with bright light (essentially, whenever she has more light to work with). It's still possible to do it in the dark or at night, it'll just be much more of an effort and she'll get a massive headache afterwards.

CANTRIPS
- Illumination: She can shape small balls of light to direct where she wishes, or imbue a small object with a glow for a few hours.
- Flashbang: Creates a brief, blinding flash of light.
- Message Motes: She can craft small light-motes/illusion-bubbles and direct them towards the intended recipient with a pre-recorded message (or image). They can read out a message, and will wait about a minute for a brief response to be 'recorded' on them before returning to her or simply dissipating. They can be intercepted, obviously will remain undelivered if the person is in an inaccessible zone, etc.
- Minor Healing: With a touch of light magic, Moenbryda can seal minor cuts and wounds, as well as relieve tension headaches.

Inventory

- Her axe, Dual Haken
- Her (probably defunct) aetherometer, a device used to visibly measure aether (magic) levels in the surroundingss somewhat like a heat graph.
- Cute clothes because what even is the point of being trapped in a fairy castle if you can't at least dress up sometimes?
- Various failed attempts at crafting a technological means to measure the magic levels around the Hedge, similar to how the aetherometer functions in canon. This would have had to be made using what she can find around the Castle, or what she can get the Gentry to provide her.
- Writing supplies
- Journals attempting to document her escape attempts/things she's learned about the Hedge and the Gentry.
- Various small knickknacks of daily you might expect to accumulate just going about your daily business. Hairties, a favored mug, etc. Maybe some kitschy porcelain thing she found in a room and kept because it reminded her of Urianger squinting.

Memories Lost

( NOTE: Some spoilers for FFXIV patch 2.4 onward follow. )

- Sharlayan: Moenbryda will remember very few specifics about her place of birth or her place in it. She'll have a vague sense that it was a place of great knowledge filled with many researchers, and that the tattoo on her neck indicates mastery of some sort, but she won't be able to recall how it was set up (the Studium and Forum, and the political situation with Garlemald) or even her own title as an Archon. She'll also forget some other Sharlayan-adjacent individuals that may have been in her vicinity, like Mikoto.

- Louisoix and the Circle of Knowing: Moenbryda will have forgotten about her mentor, her biggest influence in life. She'll have a vague sense that she was taught by someone she deeply respected, but she won't be able to recall his name, face, or whatever happened to him. She'll also have forgotten about some of the individuals who were also part of Louisoix's circle in Sharlayan, including Rammbroes, Una Tayuun, Satzfloh, Percevains, Yda, and Papalymo. She'll have a vague recollection of their roles in her mind, but she'll be unable to summon what they looked like or their names.

- Shiva and Lady Iceheart: Moenbryda will retain her memories of assisting the Warrior of Light in chasing after Shiva, such as arranging the risky teleportation to a destroyed aetheryte, but she won't recall who they were pursuing and what the outcome of that fight was.

- Nabriales and near-death: She'll essentially forget everything about the confrontation that nearly killed her. All she'll remember is being attacked by some Ascian who couldn't even be arsed to speak in a language that she can understand, then a blurry attempt to return to the Rising Stones, but nothing that happens after.
